SHIPPING POLICY

Last Updated: August 25, 2026

At Aluglobus Aluminum Systems, we ship factory-direct aluminum products and systems to customers throughout the United States. Because our orders range from individual components and hardware to full fence, gate, cladding, railing, and patio systems, shipping methods, costs, and delivery times may vary depending on the size and requirements of each order.

Please review the following Shipping Policy before placing your order.

1. SHIPPING COVERAGE

Aluglobus Aluminum Systems offers nationwide shipping throughout the United States.

Orders may be shipped directly to:

  • Residential addresses;

  • Commercial properties;

  • Contractor locations;

  • Construction sites;

  • Warehouses;

  • Approved freight terminals or pickup locations.

Shipping availability to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, U.S. territories, islands, and other remote or non-contiguous locations may be subject to additional freight charges, carrier restrictions, and extended transit times.

Please contact us before ordering if you have questions regarding shipping availability to your location.

2. SHIPPING METHODS

The shipping method used for your order depends on the product's size, weight, quantity, length, destination, and packaging requirements.

Depending on the order, shipments may be sent using:

  • Standard parcel carriers;

  • Ground shipping;

  • Less-than-truckload (LTL) freight;

  • Full truckload freight;

  • Specialized freight services;

  • Local or regional delivery;

  • Customer-arranged freight or pickup, when approved.

Small components, hardware, and accessories may qualify for standard parcel shipping.

Large aluminum profiles, fence systems, gates, cladding, patio components, oversized products, pallets, crates, and complete project orders may require freight shipping.

3. SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping costs vary based on factors including:

  • Product size and weight;

  • Length of aluminum profiles;

  • Number of packages or pallets;

  • Delivery destination;

  • Residential or commercial delivery;

  • Freight classification;

  • Liftgate requirements;

  • Limited-access locations;

  • Job-site delivery requirements;

  • Remote-area surcharges;

  • Special handling requirements.

When shipping charges can be calculated directly through our online store, they may be displayed during checkout.

For oversized, custom, palletized, bulk, or freight orders, shipping may need to be quoted separately by our team.

If additional freight charges apply, we will contact you before the shipment is released when appropriate.

4. PROCESSING AND PRODUCTION TIMES

Order processing time and production time are separate from carrier transit time.

Stocked products may be prepared for shipment after payment and order verification.

Custom, fabricated, cut-to-size, powder-coated, assembled, special-order, or project-specific products may require additional production time before they are ready to ship.

Production times vary depending on:

  • Product type;

  • Order quantity;

  • Custom dimensions;

  • Finish or powder-coat selection;

  • Fabrication requirements;

  • Assembly requirements;

  • Material availability;

  • Current production schedule.

Any estimated lead time provided when ordering is an estimate unless Aluglobus Aluminum Systems expressly guarantees a specific date in writing.

For time-sensitive projects, please confirm the current estimated production and shipping schedule with our team before ordering.

5. DELIVERY TIME

Transit time begins after your order has completed production or processing and has been released to the carrier.

Delivery times vary based on destination, carrier, shipping method, freight requirements, weather, holidays, and other circumstances outside our control.

Large, heavy, oversized, custom, or freight shipments may require additional transit time compared with standard parcel shipments.

Carrier delivery dates and estimated arrival dates are not guaranteed unless a guaranteed shipping service has been specifically arranged and confirmed.

Aluglobus Aluminum Systems is not responsible for carrier delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

6. FREIGHT AND OVERSIZED ORDERS

Many Aluglobus Aluminum Systems products are long, oversized, heavy, palletized, or otherwise unsuitable for conventional parcel delivery.

These products may be shipped by freight carrier.

Freight deliveries may require:

  • A delivery appointment;

  • A valid telephone number;

  • Someone to be present to receive the shipment;

  • Appropriate space for a delivery truck;

  • Equipment or personnel capable of unloading the shipment.

Depending on the carrier and delivery location, additional charges may apply for services such as:

  • Residential delivery;

  • Liftgate service;

  • Limited-access delivery;

  • Inside delivery;

  • Redelivery;

  • Storage;

  • Address changes;

  • Job-site delivery.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, customers are responsible for arranging appropriate unloading assistance or equipment for large freight shipments.

7. DELIVERY TO JOB SITES

We can ship eligible aluminum system orders directly to a job site, business, warehouse, or other approved delivery location.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and confirming that the delivery location can safely accommodate the applicable delivery vehicle.

For active construction sites, please make sure:

  • Access is available for the delivery vehicle;

  • Someone authorized is available to receive the shipment;

  • Appropriate unloading equipment or personnel are available when required;

  • The delivery address and contact number are correct.

Additional carrier charges resulting from inaccessible locations, failed delivery attempts, redelivery, storage, or incorrect information may be the responsibility of the customer.

8. LOCAL PICKUP

Local pickup may be available for eligible products and orders from select Aluglobus Aluminum Systems wholesale, distribution, or showroom locations.

Pickup availability depends on:

  • Product type;

  • Inventory location;

  • Order size;

  • Production status;

  • Location;

  • Scheduling availability.

Do not arrive for pickup until our team has confirmed that your order is ready.

Large or long products may require an appropriate truck, trailer, straps, padding, or other equipment for safe transportation.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that the vehicle used for pickup is suitable for safely transporting the order.

Please contact us in advance to confirm pickup availability and location.

9. SHIPPING ADDRESS ACCURACY

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address, including:

  • Recipient or business name;

  • Street address;

  • Unit or suite number;

  • City;

  • State;

  • ZIP code;

  • Telephone number;

  • Relevant delivery instructions.

Please review your shipping information carefully before submitting your order.

If an address needs to be changed after an order has been processed or released for shipment, contact us immediately.

Address corrections, rerouting, redelivery, storage, or other carrier charges resulting from incorrect or changed information may be charged to the customer.

10. ORDER CHANGES BEFORE SHIPPING

If you need to change your order or delivery information, please contact us as soon as possible.

We cannot guarantee that changes can be made after:

  • Production has started;

  • Products have been cut or fabricated;

  • Custom finishing has begun;

  • An order has been packaged;

  • Shipping documents have been created;

  • The shipment has been transferred to the carrier.

Any additional costs resulting from an approved order or shipping modification may be the responsibility of the customer.

11. INSPECTING YOUR SHIPMENT

Please inspect your shipment as soon as it arrives.

For freight shipments, inspect the packaging, pallets, crates, and visible products before the carrier leaves whenever reasonably possible.

Look for:

  • Crushed packaging;

  • Bent or damaged material;

  • Torn wrapping;

  • Broken pallets or crates;

  • Missing packages;

  • Visible freight damage;

  • Signs that the shipment has been opened or mishandled.

If visible damage is present, document the condition with photographs and note the damage on the carrier's delivery receipt or proof of delivery whenever possible.

Do not discard the packaging until the order has been fully inspected.

12. DAMAGED SHIPMENTS

If your order arrives damaged, please contact Aluglobus Aluminum Systems within 48 hours of delivery.

Please provide:

  • Your order number;

  • Your name and contact information;

  • Photos of the damaged product;

  • Photos of the packaging;

  • Photos of the pallet or crate, when applicable;

  • Photos of shipping labels;

  • A description of the damage;

  • A copy or photo of the delivery receipt, when applicable.

Please retain all original packaging and damaged material until we have completed our review.

Failure to report freight or shipping damage promptly may affect our ability to submit a claim with the carrier or provide a remedy.

After reviewing the claim, we will determine the appropriate resolution in accordance with our applicable policies and the circumstances of the shipment.

13. MISSING ITEMS OR SHIPPING SHORTAGES

Please inspect your order promptly after delivery.

If you believe that an item, package, component, or quantity is missing, contact us as soon as possible with your order number and details regarding the missing material.

For palletized shipments, please review all packaging carefully because smaller components or hardware may be secured within or attached to larger packages.

We will review the order and shipping records to determine the appropriate next step.

14. LOST SHIPMENTS

If tracking information indicates that a shipment has been delivered but you cannot locate it, please first:

  1. Check the complete delivery area;

  2. Confirm the shipping address;

  3. Check with employees, household members, contractors, neighbors, property management, or receiving personnel;

  4. Contact the carrier when appropriate.

If the shipment still cannot be located, contact Aluglobus Aluminum Systems and we will assist in reviewing the shipment information.

Carrier investigations may be required before a replacement, credit, or other resolution can be determined.

15. DELIVERY APPOINTMENTS AND MISSED DELIVERIES

Freight carriers may contact the recipient to schedule delivery.

Customers are responsible for providing a valid telephone number and responding to carrier scheduling requests.

Additional carrier fees caused by:

  • Missed appointments;

  • Failed delivery attempts;

  • Redelivery;

  • Storage;

  • Refused delivery without authorization;

  • Inaccessible delivery locations;

may be charged to the customer where permitted.

16. REFUSED SHIPMENTS

Do not refuse a shipment solely because the exterior packaging appears damaged unless instructed to do so by Aluglobus Aluminum Systems or unless accepting the shipment would be unsafe.

Visible freight damage should generally be documented on the delivery receipt and reported immediately.

Unauthorized refusal of a shipment may result in return freight, redelivery, storage, or other carrier charges.

17. CUSTOM AND MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTS

Many Aluglobus Aluminum Systems products are custom manufactured, fabricated, cut, powder coated, assembled, or prepared specifically for a customer's project.

Production schedules for these products vary.

Shipping dates provided before production is complete should be considered estimates unless specifically guaranteed in writing.

Please review all measurements, specifications, finishes, quantities, and shipping information before approving a custom order.

Return, exchange, and replacement eligibility for custom products is governed by our applicable Refund and Return Policy.

18. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Our primary shipping service is for customers within the United States.

International shipping is not guaranteed to be available through the online store and must be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Customers requesting shipment outside the United States should contact Aluglobus Aluminum Systems before placing an order.

When international shipping is approved, the customer may be responsible for applicable:

  • International freight charges;

  • Customs duties;

  • Import taxes;

  • Brokerage fees;

  • Port fees;

  • Local taxes;
