This is the heaviest-walled, longest profile in the heavy duty gate frame line from Aluglobus Aluminum Systems. This 24 ft 2×4 aluminum gate frame is a dual wall extrusion with .125 walls, supplied in 6063-T6 aluminum and finished in black AAMA 2604 super-durable powder coating.
It is aimed at fabricators and installers who need long runs of frame material, or who want a thicker wall than the standard .090 profile for a custom heavy duty pedestrian or sliding gate.
When to choose the .125 wall profile
Our listed HD gate kits are built on the .090 wall 20 ft and 12 ft lengths. The 24 ft .125 profile is sold on its own for custom work where you want more material in the wall or fewer joins along a long member. We do not publish span or load figures for it, so confirm your design with our team rather than assuming a size limit.

All three share the same 2×4 in. outside size, black AAMA 2604 finish and 6063-T6 alloy, so the choice comes down to the length you need to cut from and the wall thickness your design calls for. A 24 ft length also needs a clear, supported area to receive, store flat and cut; protect the powder-coated faces while you work.
Hardware and kits

2×4 in. x 24 ft. HD Aluminum Gate Frame (.125 walls) – Black is made from aluminum 6063-t6, finished with AAMA 2604 Super-Durable Powder Coating in black.
6063-T6 is an architectural aluminum alloy made for extruded profiles. It gives clean, consistent shapes and takes a powder coating evenly, which is why it is widely used for fences, gates and other exterior building products.
AAMA 2604 is the American Architectural Manufacturers Association specification for high-performance organic coatings, powder coatings included, on aluminum extrusions. It sets test requirements for outdoor color and gloss retention, chalking and corrosion resistance.
