This box holds 11 ALU 60 T&G slats cut to 39 in., the length used in our 4 ft x 6 ft DIY pedestrian gate kits. These 4×6 tongue and groove gate slats lock into one another as you stack them in the frame, so the finished panel reads as a solid, gap-free privacy surface rather than a row of separate boards.
Because the slats arrive pre-cut to gate length, you skip the measuring and cutting you would face with full-length fence stock. That makes the box a practical way to match a new gate to an ALU 60 T&G fence line, or to rebuild the infill of an existing 4 ft wide DIY gate frame.

What it is made of
(Gate Slat Box) ALU 60 T&G Slat – 11pcs (39in) is made from aluminum 6063-t6, finished with AAMA 2604 Super-Durable Powder Coating in black, bronze, white.
6063-T6 is an architectural aluminum alloy made for extruded profiles. It gives clean, consistent shapes and takes a powder coating evenly, which is why it is widely used for fences, gates and other exterior building products.
AAMA 2604 is the American Architectural Manufacturers Association specification for high-performance organic coatings, powder coatings included, on aluminum extrusions. It sets test requirements for outdoor color and gloss retention, chalking and corrosion resistance.
