4x6 heavy duty aluminum gate frame kit
If you already know what infill you want – a particular slat, a panel that matches existing fencing, or a mix of profiles – start with the frame. This 4×6 heavy duty aluminum gate frame kit supplies the heavy-duty frame and hardware for a 4' x 6' pedestrian gate and leaves the infill choice to you. It is finished in powder-coated black and accepts ¾" or 1" infill profiles.

Infill, posts and latch are not part of the kit. The individual 2×4 in. x 20ft. HD aluminum gate frame profile is also listed on its own, and it is specified in 6063-T6 aluminum with AAMA 2604 powder coating.
Why build on an HD frame
The 2×4 in. frame section, the L-corner brackets that tie the corners together and the integrated L-stopper make this a stiffer base than a light DIY frame. That matters when your chosen infill is heavy or the gate sees daily use. Double-support hinges carry the leaf on the post side; if you want extra, HD double support hinges are sold by the piece.
